This 40 minute module will provide you with basic awareness training of machine and equipment guarding hazards. It discusses the legislation and rules/regulations that exist related this topic as well as the responsibilities of Employers, Supervisors and Workers.
This training program is designed to help workplace parties assess and recognize machine and equipment guarding hazards in the workplace. Individuals who complete this training should be better apt to identify improper or non-existent guarding and lockout of machines. Individuals will also learn about appropriate guards, safety devices and protective elements.
