WHMIS 2015 Awareness Training

The WHMIS 2015 Safety Training Program is designed to provide participants with a basic understanding about workplace hazardous materials.  This training will allow participants to learn about how to handle dangerous goods in the workplace.  The program will also help you, as a worker, eliminate hazards associated with workplace hazardous materials.

The suggestions and content in this course are not intended to take precedence or to replace existing plant safety rules, regulations or instructions issued by the product supplier.

NOTE: Employers will need to supplement this training program standard with additional information, instruction and training in workplace-specific policies and procedures and workplace-specific equipment related to workplace hazardous materials. This should cover the particular equipment and applications you will encounter in the workplace.
