Accessibility of Ontarians with Disabilities Act Training

In January of 2012, the legislation was put in place with all the requirements set out by the AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act).
There is legislation in place that requires all organizations and business owners to establish policies and procedures to assist persons with disabilities, to create procedures for all employees to follow when they deal with the public, and also to develop modes of communication when assisting persons with disabilities.
The AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) is a program designed to explain the purpose and scope of the act; the responsibility of organizations and people on the AODA act, which lists the recommended principles and relevant information in regards to communicating with persons with a disability.
